Game Start

The game will start with asking you a series of questions to adapt the game to your fetishes, some of which will auto-generate characters with your personal preferences.

Pregnancy

You can choose to disable pregnancy whatsoever, which will remove most pregnancy content from the game, or your can choose if you want pregnancy to be predictable, semi-realistic, or realistic. The game explains this for you on the choice screen.

Story speed

After this, you will be asked to choose how fast the game should move forward. It will affect how often you experience story events. You can choose between quick, standard, epic, and marathon. The general recommendation is to play the game in standard mode, which means that you would still play for days to get all content.

Difficulty

You will then be able to choose the difficulty of the game. I will need to check the code to determine the difference.

Rando generator

This is an interesting part of the game start. Here, you choose specific characteristic of the randomly generated women you can encounter in the game (apart from the fixed characters).

You get five tabs with selectors for body type, cup size (AA to FF), hair style, pubes style, and skin color. Make sure that your choices on each of these tabs result in approximately 100%.

If you have played the game before, you don't have to redo this - it is stored in RenPy's persistent cache.

Character point distribution

Next, you get to distribute a number of stat/skill points to decide the levels your character starts with. Later, you will be able to level up your skills when you are rewarded for completing tasks.

Main stats

The main stats are charisma, intelligence and focus. Charisma determines your appearance and personal force and the value is a multipler for the sale of serums and business management skills.

Your intelligence determines the level of research and develop serums you provide.

Your focus controls how well you produce and procure supplies.

Any of the above spends three points per level you select.

Work skills

Your skills also multiply the level of which you work.

Human resources, marketing, research/development, production and supply procurement all have a base startup value of maximum 4. You should maximize the area in which you decide to focus your work in the beginning of the game.

Sex skills

This is the area where you decide how much "fun" you can provide for the women in the game at the beginning. Grouped in foreplay, oral (giving), vaginal, and anal sex, you can choose to maximize either or, which may be best, distribute evenly.

First, last, and company name

The last setting you do on this page is decide the name of your character and the name of your company. It doesn't matter, but your last name will propagate to your sister and mother.

Introduction and tutorial

After this page is finished, the game will ask if you want to play the introduction and tutorial, or you can choose to skip ahead to the first actual game day.

If you ask to play the tutorial, you are asked if you have played the game before, or if you're new to Lab Rats. Choosing the latter will give you a bit of background story which is automatically followed by the tutorial. The introductory part of the tutorial makes you familiar with your famly and with Stephanie, your old friend with whom you had shared a crazy summer.

Stephanie will show you around the pharmaceutical company you just started and explain the way things work along the way. You are forced to visit the individual locations of the company one by one before you can move on.
